We inadvertantly wound up taking a bus to Phnom Penh. We were supposed to fly, but the Vietnam Airlines plane that was to take us back to Vietnam missed the runway as it landed by 60m, and upon crashing into a fence, got stuck in the mud. So no airplanes could take off or land till they managed to pull it out some two days later. In the meantime, they put us up overnight and then got us up at 5:00am only to change the time the bus would leave to 7:00... Anyhow, in the end we got to see more of Cambodia, and our flight didn't crash, so all in all it turned out well. View of a wat from the bus - we saw tons of these all over the place. We would love to go back and tour the countryside for real.
